Overview Hilda Mason was a member of the Board of Education from 1972-1977. These files include meeting minutes, research files, bills, finance and budget files, capital improvements files, program assessments, proposals, personnel files, public hearing files, committee reports, school board files, statements, superintendent files, statments, teachers' union files, and files on the youth orchestra program.
Scope and Contents This collection consists mainly of clippings and programs relating to Howard University in the 1920s and 1930s. Also included are postcards of the Biltmore Hotel and a black establishment in Durham, North Carolina. Other materials of Ms. Price are at Howard University.
Scope and Contents The papers which cover Mrs. Ziegler’s career as an educator of the mentally retarded at the District Training School in Laurel, Maryland which later became Forest Haven School. Papers covering Mrs. Zeigler include photographs of activities and events at the school, publications regarding the training of the mentally retarded, press releases, programs, a newsletter, correspondence, awards, published books, and certificates.
